Mid Winter Swim

The Worser Bay Life Saving Club is holding its Mid winter dip in the sea12 noon on Sunday 23 June and you are invited to get involved in this fun event.

The mid winter dip involves you getting your total body immersed in the sea (for those who aren't into getting salt in their ears, you can keep your head above the water).
This is a real test of "mind over matter". If you don't think it will be cold, the water won't feel all that cold. You just need to stay nice and warm before entering the water, then head for the warm showers, get dry and eat from warm food and drink out of the wind.

You are welcome to be slightly crazy and wear fancy dress, however, this is not essential.
Challenge your parents to join you in the water.
To help you along the way, we are providing hot soup, warm drinks, marshmellows and some home baking. You are more than welcome to bring along some food as well, but you do not need to.

You are also welcome to bring a friend along to join us for this occasion. This is a great way to show your friends how resilient you are, and how much fun we can have at our club.

Best pictures will be posted on the club's Facebook site.

 Annual General Meeting
